Onward Play is looking for a Community Manager to join one of our AAA game studio clients. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for strategically planning content for all major Social Media platforms, which may also include live streaming and video content for YouTube.

You’ll engage with the game community and report on current needs and issues the community may be running into. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys turn-based games, understands our target audience, and who can engage with players in written and verbal methods in a relatable fashion.

  • Run community events and create engagement posts to best serve the interests of our gaming community.
  • Prepare community announcements in a positive tone.
  • Create and execute community strategies for assigned projects.
  • Grow and manage community outreach, building up relationships with players, the community, and influencers.
  • Cultivate and maintain a strong relationship with players within communities.
  • Monitor fan-based online communities and make sure their voice is being heard.
  • Create content (images, video, and written) that can get players engaged, both in-game and socially.
  • Experience in managing Social Media platforms to brands and products. (Know the difference between Feed, Reels, and IGTV, for example).
  • 2+ years of experience in the games industry (Preferred)
